Schedule Three Open Water Field Lessons in South Florida

The In-Field Training will require the scheduling of the boat that will go into the Intercostal and into the Atlantic Ocean in the second and third lessons. You would need to be in South Florida, preferably for three days in a row.

You would be required to pay a fee for each event to cover the cost of fuel, boat rental and the Captain. The fee for each Lesson is $75 US dollars.

For the FAD Aggregation tests in August of 2026, there can be a maximum of 2 Underwater Robot Operators and a minimum of 1 Operator.

However, if you complete the course, and are a certified Scuba diver, we could have 3 Underwater Robot Operators and you would be able to rotate between different stages of operating the Underwater Robot, and Scuba diving to record images and videos of the Robot and the FAD.

After you complete Lesson 1, please Contact Us, so we can obtain available dates for you and the boat.
