August 17, 2026 - FAD day 1
The first day of the 4 day FAD aggregation rate tests require the construction of the FAD and frame to hold the video camera and other sensors.
After the FAD unit is finished it is deployed in the area where trap #5 was located in the 2018 tests, as it is a know good location.
After the 9 hour period that the video camera will run, the camera must be retrieved so batteries can be charged and the SD card can be replaced and downloaded..
Thereafter, the video camera must be deployed each morning and retrieved after the 9 hour interval for each of the remaining 3 days.
August 18, 2026 - FAD day 2
Second day, the camera must be deployed with batteries charged, SD card copied and cleaned.
After the 9 hour period that the video camera will run, the camera must be retrieved so batteries can be charged and the SD card can be replaced and downloaded..
Each day will also include tests of the underwater robot to see if the robot can both release the camera unit that will float to the surface, and deploy the camera and connect to the FAD frame. Scuba divers will intervene as necessary if the robot fails any test.
