August 18, 2026 - Day 2

The second day the camera with a clean SD card and fully charged battery is deployed. The robot upon deployment will attempt to connect the camera to the FAD frame. The FAD is videoed and  inspected by SCUBA and a secondary video is created by the underwater robot while it attempts to attach the Camera Unit to the FAD frame. If the robot fails, Scuba divers will attach the camera unit to the FAD frame.

At the end or the 9 hour recording period the Camera Unit is retrieved, or sooner if the 9 hour period extends beyond sunset, in which case the camera will be retrieved at sunset.

The robot will attempt to release the Camera Unit from the FAD frame and allow it to float to the surface. Scuba divers will be on hand to secure or release the camera in the event that the robot fails.
